    • Other arylated indoles, that is, on the benzene ring, represent also a class of interesting compound regarding their biological activities; however their syntheses are still today related to the specific preparation of the starting material by functionalisation at the desired position followed by, generally, a Suzuki-Miyura cross-coupling. To the best of our knowledge, no direct arylation method has been reported to date for their synthesis and therefore, these compounds are not considered here.
