When we began this project there had been no reports on the coordination chemistry of these 2-pyridyl-1,2,3-triazole ligands with palladium(II). However, during the course of our work two groups have published in this area, see, refs 36 and 37. Additionally, we have reported some preliminary studies on Pd(II) dichloride complexes, see ref 16.
