    • ••The formation of highly ordered MTFs with large pore diameter (up to 9 nm) was reported for the first time. Large pores of MTFs were formed by using triblock copolymer as templating agent. These films possess two- and three-dimensional symmetries (hexagonal and cubic), stable upon calcination and crack free. Low dielectric constant values (1.45-2.1) of the films were measured

    • Preferred alignment of mesochannels in a mesoporous silica film grown on a silicon (110) surface
    • ••MTFs were grown on different silicon wafers of different orientations: (100), (111) and (110). It was found that the symmetry of the prepared mesoporous films was hexagonal with pores aligned parallel to the wafer surface. However, the preferential orientation of the pores along the [001] axis of the silicon wafer was observed only in films grown on (110) wafer surface. This result was explained by strong anisotropy of the arrangement of the silanol groups on this surface
