    • 10 has been reported as a silicate/surfactant composite, and this phase does not have the correct symmetry to nucleate on a hexagonally close packed monolayer of spherical micelles. If it could be made as a silicate/surfactant composite, a cubic phase such as the Fm3m could nucleate from a surfactant layer like that shown in Figure 4.
