    • On histocompatibility barriers, Th1 to Th2 immune deviation, and the nature of the allograft responses
    • The authors highlight the possibility that a Th1-to-Th2 immune deviation does not universally blunt cytopathic, T cell dependent immune responses and it may be insufficient for the acquisition of tolerance. Unique features of MHC-mismatched allografts render the alloimmune response resistant to Th2 cell mediated tolerizing effects.
