    • Very recently, Zipse have tackled this reactivity problem in the context of polymer-bound DMAP-based organocatalysts by immobilising highly active tricyclic 3,4-diaminopyridines (which are considerably more active than DMAP itself) on a polymer support. The resulting polymers were comparable in terms of activity with homogeneous DMAP. See
