    • An NMR tube containing 1 atm of H2 (1.9 mL, 0.08 mmol) and 500 μL of THF-d8 was found to have a concentration of 19 mM of H 2 in solution (by NMR integration vs a standard, Our conditions typically include 10-15 μmol of IrCl(PEt3)3; forming 10-15 μmol of H2 would mean a soluble concentration of 2.5-3.7 mM. Thus the concentrations of H2 formed in these reactions would be difficult to observe by 1H NMR spectroscopy
