    • Since tert-butylimido ligand is a stronger donor than the oxo ligand, the Ru=NtBu and Ru=O bonds in complexes 4 would have more triple and single bond character, respectively, due to a "push-pull" effect, as expressed by a corresponding resonance formula, see Scheme 2.
