    • The genes for perforin, granzymes A-C and IFN-gamma are differentially expressed in single CD8(+) T cells during primary activation
    • This paper challenges the dogma that all cytotoxic cells are armed with both perforin and several granzymes. Using single-cell RT-PCR, this paper presents data to suggest that individual cells express diverse combinations of perforin and granzymes. If additional studies confirm these results using granzyme-specific reagents, these results may imply an additional level of control of cytotoxicity at the cellular level.
