    • The ligands of CXC chemokine receptor 3, I-TAC, Mig and IP10, are natural antagonists for CCR3
    • These two articles [53•,54•] demonstrate that although eotaxin (to the best of our knowledge) only signals via CCR3, it can bind to another chemokine receptor, CXCR3, and act as an antagonist. Similarly, CXCR3 ligands can act as antagonists of CCR3. These findings led both laboratories to conclude that Th1-associated chemokines may act, in part, by antagonising Th2-associated chemokine receptors and vice versa.
