    • Mouse Vα14i NKT cells are resistant to cytokine polarization in vivo
    • The data in this paper indicate that Vα14i NKT cells contain mRNA for both IFN-γ and IL-4 before activation, indicating that the early response of these cells might be difficult to polarize. Despite this, polarized systemic immune responses can be generated after the activation of Vα14i NKT cells through alterations in their influence on other cell types, such as NK cells.
