The existence of [Ti2F9]- anion was proposed on the basis of 19F NMR spectroscopy or conductivity measurements in solution and on elemental analysis in the solid state. The given anion has not been crystallographically characterized to date; therefore, we will present it in the as {[Ti2F9]-} since it might polymerize in the solid state into the chains {[Ti2F9]-}n; See Ref. [47] for details.
