2B-SnR ′ 3 have been described but were not explored in great detail. However, they appear to be of low stability and were not investigated within this work. Lead boron compounds bearing oxygen substituents at the boron moiety have not been described in detail. 12,13,15c

Attempts to perform X-ray powder diffraction measurements on the black material separated from solutions of 4c were unsuccessful due to its fine and adhesive nature. However, an X-ray powder diffraction analysis of material obtained by heating neat 4c to 114-116 °C revealed that it consists indeed of elemental lead and additional, unidentified crystalline material. Ph distances appears, due to the very unsymmetrical nature of this interaction, more useful than the use of K-centroid distances See for example

See the ESI for details The stereochemistry of and the dynamic process present in propeller-shaped molecules have been studied extensively. Generally, various isomerisation processes involving the rotation about X-Ph bonds are feasible. However, a detailed analysis and estimation of the activation parameters of the dynamic processes present in 6a remains the subject of further studies. See for example
