    • Braunstein recently reported the observation of a mono-thione compound, [(1,3-phenylene)bis(methylene)]-(1-ethylimidazol-2-ylidene)-(3-ethylimidazole-2- thione) chloride with an approximately 10-15% conversion within a reaction mixture targeting the synthesis of the corresponding bis-thione compound.
