In fact, our analytical results for the wire and layer/multilayer Knudsenflow suppression apply for transport of general quasiparticles with an isotropic dispersion assuming that the quasiparticles can be ascribed a constant mean free path. Our analytical results should thus be directly applicable also for electronic transport in, for example, thin simple- and noble-metal films and wires.
