    • Nuclear relocation of a transactivator subunit precedes target gene activation
    • This study provides a good example of transcription factor compartmentalization playing a role during differentiation. Using murine erythroleukemia cells, it was found that targeting of transcription factors and the β-globin locus to active sites of transcription is tightly correlated with timing of differentiation.
