This was an interesting study of the 5-HTTLPR in non-human primates that demonstrated an effect of a gene-environment interaction on brain serotonergic function. The identification of an analogue to the 5-HTTLPR in non-human primates offers excellent opportunities for future studies of this polymorphism.
