    • Quantifying the exact role of HLA-DRB1 alleles in susceptibility to inflammatory polyarthritis. Results from a large, population-based study
    • This carefully performed study demonstrates that the shared epitope (of HLA-DR) confers a relatively small risk for RA in a population-based patient group. The study provides further support for the view that the shared epitope is, to a large extent, a severity factor in RA
