    • The macrocycle 11 was initially synthesized by Latos- Graz̀yński and co-workers by using 1,1′- ferrocenyldimethyldipyrromethane. The details are reported in ref 29b. However, we used the corresponding diaryl dipyrromethane, and the macrocycle was highly rigid from the spectral analysis, which was further confirmed by single-crystal X-ray analysis
