An enhanced GRA1-GRA7 cocktail DNA vaccine primes anti-Toxoplasma immune responses in pigs
-
Describes DNA vaccination against T. gondii in pigs. The results indicate that pigs can be efficiently primed against T. gondii infection by means of a DNA vaccine. It was demonstrated that administration of a cocktail DNA vaccine is able to elicit humoral and cellular immune responses against T. gondii in pigs. It is therefore possible that the enhanced type 1 responses observed in these animals could protect against the acute phase of infection
