The synthesis of complex 7d is representative. To a solution of complex 4a (150 mg, 0.40 mmol) in anhydrous CHCl3 (20 mL, under Ar, were added the corresponding azide 6d (54 mg, 0.18 mmol) and Et3N (0.05 mL, 0.4 mmol, Then, Cul (8 mg, 0.04 mmol) was incorporated into the mixture under Ar, and the reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 48 h. The reaction mixture was quenched with water (10 mL) and CH2CL2 (5 mL) and stirred for another 30 min. Phases were separated, and the aqueous layer was extracted with CH2Cl 2 (3 × 20 mL, The combined organic layers were dried over MgSO4, filtered through Celite, and evaporated to yield 114 mg (61, of pure complex 7d after purification by SiO2 chromatography hexane to hexane/EtOAc 1:2
