    • Efficiency and specificity of RNA interference generated by intra- and intermolecular double stranded RNA in Trypanosoma brucei
    • This paper provides an in-depth comparison of the efficacy of stem-loop and linear dsRNA in triggering RNAi. The effects of silencing a gene involved in motility are observed at the RNA, protein and phenotype levels in both populations and single cells. The results indicate that stem-loop RNA is slightly more efficient at silencing and considerably less leaky.
