Crystals diffracted very weakly, even at low temperature, and the reflection shape was poor. Refinement invariably gave high R values and highly distorted thermal ellipsoids. We found no evidence for an incorrect cell or space group or for twinning, and are thus unable to establish the cause of the problem. The Cu...Cu contact is approximately 2.52 A, which is slightly shorter than the copper-copper distance in the metal; for a discussion, see: -16285
