12. We have defined the scope and limitations of the method by testing the influence of size/sterics, temperature and electronic effect on the reaction. This methodology is quite versatile and should also be applicable to asymmetric syntheses using chiral non-racemic sulfenylimines derived from optically pure aldehydes.
