    • In vivo imaging of quantum dots encapsulated in phospholipid micelles
    • By encapsulating the quantum dots in phospholipid block-copolymer micelles, the authors were able to inject them into Xenopus eggs without any toxicity or biological activity. In addition the quantum dot-micelles did not aggregate, were stable for long periods of time and showed no loss of fluorescence.
