    • At high molar ratios, the TEM grids made of copper underwent a redox reaction with silver nitrate producing silver nanoparticles at the edges of the grids. All TEM images reported in this work were of nanowires centered within the TEM grids. Identical transformations of the selenium nanowires were observed in a comparative study between gold and copper TEM grids.
