The electronic structures of DB stanene on the BN sheet and InSb(111)-(Equation presented) surface are checked by using the van der Waals density functional method [M. Dion, H. Rydberg, E. Schröder, D. C. Langreth, and B. I. Lundqvist, Phys. Rev. Lett. 92, 246401 (2004) 10.1103/PhysRevLett.92.246401]. It is found that although the band structures of two kinds of heterostructures change little, both of them [for DB stanene on the BN sheet and InSb(111)-(Equation presented) surface] are in the topologically nontrivial phase.
