    • r-LTO belongs to a family of disordered rock-salt structure: LixTi1-xO. The structure is identical to rock-salt TiO structure and Ti is patricianly replaced by Li. Li composition x can be range from 0 to 0.66 (Li2TiO3) while the lattice constant increases from 4.14Å to 4.17Å as x decreases. A discussion of LixTi1-xO appears in M.N. Obrovac, O. Mao, J.R. Dahn, Solid State Ionics 112 9, and the references therein
