    • The ability of a solvent to absorb microwave energy is related to three main dielectric parameters: tangent delta, dielectric constant, and dielectric loss. Since these parameters are dependent on the temperature, the ability to absorb microwave energy changes with the temperature, and a lot of common solvents show a decrease in microwave susceptibility with temperature rise
