    • Db/db mice are more suitable in a simultaneous evaluation of plasma glucose-lowering effect and undesirable adverse effect, such as the decrease of red blood cells. Incidentally, compound 23 also showed a potent plasma glucose-lowering effect in KK/Ta mice.
