    • Detoxification of vinyl chloride to ethene coupled to growth of an anaerobic bacterium
    • In contrast to the previous isolated Dehalococcoides, this isolate grows on VC. This finding provided needed assurance that VC could be detoxified as effectively as other chloroethenes.
