    • Tetrapeptide 1, His-DPhe-Arg-Trp-NH2 has been reported at the human melanocortin-4 receptor previously (Ref 44, Ki = 416 nM and EC50 = 8.7 nM). The smaller EC50 value than Ki value is possibly due to the use of a transient expression system for determination of EC50 since activation properties are dependent on expression level per cell.
