    • note
    • An unidentifiable byproduct presumed to be a cross-metathesis dimer was formed in significant amounts (∼30%). The difficulty in confirming such a product is the result of carbamate C-N bond rotamers that occur in two-fold vis-à-vis the cross-metathesized product. Proton NMR experiments on these sulfamoyl carbamates were conducted at 50°C in order to attempt to overcome the rotational barrier but were unsuccessful.
