    • Identification of a novel archaebacterial thioredoxin: Determination of function through structure
    • This work reaffirms the importance of the structural proteomics approach in protein functional annotation. Structural data clearly indicated that MTH895 is a member of the glutaredoxin/thioredoxin family, and biochemical methods confirmed that it is a thioredoxin. These data and sequence comparisons identified a new class of thioredoxins, termed truncated thioredoxins.
