    • The contact angle of a droplet of water with a block copolymer film was approximately 102°, which is near the value for pure poly(isoprene). For poly(ferrocenyldimethylsilane) this contact angle is about 96°. Furthermore, XPS data in ref 2 show almost no Fe and Si signal from the poly(ferrocenyldimethylsilane) block in a thin block copolymer film, but only a large C signal. This confirms that the free surface is wetted by the organic poly(isoprene) phase.
