J Neuroimmunol 1998, 81:82-89. To our knowledge, the first such paper which examined how aminoguanidine (AG) administration modulates the severity of virus-induced central nervous system (CNS) disease. A well done study that demonstrates that NOS2-derived nitric oxide (NO) is important in contributing to CNS inflammation and demyelination following CNS infection with Theiler's virus.
