Obesity reduces uterine receptivity: Clinical experience from 9587 first cycles of ovum donation with normal weight donors
-
Bellver J, Pellicer A, Garcia-Velasco JA, et al. Obesity reduces uterine receptivity: clinical experience from 9587 first cycles of ovum donation with normal weight donors. Fertil Steril 2013; 100:1050-1058. This is the largest study investigating obesity and chances of pregnancy after ART using donor oocytes. The donor oocyte model uses oocytes from healthy, young donors and is able to isolate the influence of obesity in the recipient. Thus, it may be ideal in investigating the influence of obesity on endometrial receptivity.
