    • The synthesis and structural and spectroscopic characterization of Cr(v)-oxo complexes with salen, porphyrin, and corrole ligands have been reported previously. In addition, synthetic Cr(v)-oxo complexes have shown reactivities in oxidation reactions, including the epoxidation of olefins, and it has been proposed that Cr(v)-oxo species are reactive intermediates in the catalytic oxidation of organic substrates
