The sensitivities of TPEs to the amines were dependent on the media used. Therefore, the assay 1 was done in dichloromethane and the assays 2 and 3 were examined in dichloromethane/hexane (v/v 1:1). However, the assays did not work in water due to their solubilities. The details are presented in Figure S2 in the Supporting Information.
