    • Prior to the subtraction the best-fitting curve related to the vibrational profile has been extrapolated up to few GHz (Figure 2). We note that the shape of the quasi-elastic region (ν < 270 GHz) is not strongly affected by the subtraction of this tail that contributes for less than 7% of the total intensity.
