Within the Bloch limit, which assumes that C(t) decays infinitely fast during both coherence periods, the 2D spectrum in the homogeneous limit is a 2D Lorentzian as previously described by Ref. 30. Under the short time expansion, however, C(t) is assumed to not decay during the two coherence periods, causing the 2D surface to take the form of a symmetric 2D Gaussian in the homogeneous limit.
