We measured the conductivity of 3-EB complexes by means of fourpoint probe technique. We could not evaluate the value (the resistivity was over 200 M ohm); this means that the Pd complex does not act as a dopant just as the acid does, although we cannot rule out the possibility that tert-butyl substituent in 3 perturbs the conductivity in EB.
