    • piggyBac transposition reprograms fibroblasts to induced pluripotent stem cells
    • piggyBac (PB) transposition was used to introduce the reprogramming factors and generate iPSCs. The transposon was successfully removed by subsequent transient expression of PB transposase in the iPSCs without any trace in the integration site. By using a doxycycline (dox)-inducible promoter, the authors also demonstrated that MEFs derived from PB-iPSCs could be reprogrammed very efficiently through the addition of dox.
