    • Previously, it was reported that the transmittance of a predominantly oneto two-layer RG-O film prepared by the vacuum filteration method is 95%. In the report, RG-O was prepared by the modified Hummer's method and the number of layers was determined by AFM studies. See ref 10 for detailed information

    • The covalent bonds might be formed at the interfaces of the aminated substrate, graphene oxide, and aminated MWNT. The epoxy groups of graphene oxide can undergo a ring-opening reaction by primary amine groups of the substrate and/or MWNT. In addition, the annealing of the G-O/MWNT double layer at 125 °C under a nitrogen atmosphere could lead to the formation of amide bonds between carboxylic acid groups of graphene oxide sheet and primary amine groups of the substrate and/or MWNT.
