    • Unfortunately, it was not possible to distinguish the smallest gold nanoparticles (∼2 nm) which were detected in solution by QELS. We suppose that the change of micro-environment conditions (i.e., reduced amount of retained solvent, increase of ionic strength due to evaporation) after casting on the surface could cause a broader selfaggregation of AuNPs with respect to the solution
