    • Transplantation of adipose derived stromal cells is associated with functional improvement in a rat model of chronic myocardial infarction
    • This study compared cell engraftment, survival, and differentiation as well as cardiac functional outcomes following transplantation of adipose-derived stromal cells (ADSCs) compared with adipose-derived cardiomyoblasts (AD-CMGs) and bone marrow mononuclear cells (BM-MNC). This study importantly demonstrated the superior benefit of transplantation of adipose-derived cells in chronic infarct as compared with cardiac-predifferentiated ADSCs and BM-MNCs
