    • It can be shown that X=β1+V1 (δ1-δ2)2/RT where β1 is lattice constant, δ1 and δ2 are solubility parameters of the solvent and polymer, respectively. For PLLA, δ2=19-20.5 (J·cm3)1/2; for chloroform, δ1=19.42 (J·cm3 )1/2. The parameter X is calculated in the range of 0.314-0.364
