    • Prostaglandin E receptor EP1 controls impulsive behavior under stress
    • The first report suggesting the role of PGE receptor subtype in psychological stress as well as sickness behavior. The authors serendipitously found that EP1-deficient mice were impulsive (e.g. highly aggressive and jumping off from the cliff). Pharmacological findings in this report also suggest that the impulsive behaviors of EP1-deficient mice are due to heightened dopaminergic activity and are not of developmental origin.
