Low genetic differentiation among widely separated populations of the pearl oyster Pinctada fucata as revealed by AFLP
-
Daria Koscinski studies the patterns of genetic and biological diversity, particularly spatial patterns in heterogeneous and fragmented landscapes. Adam G. Yates is a researcher in aquatic ecosystem assessment studying the effects of land use and land management on stream biological communities. Paul Handford studies the characterization and interpretation of patterns of behavioural (mainly song), morphological and genetic variation, among individuals, among populations or among species. Stephen C. Lougheed's research focuses on understanding the origins of biodiversity from the level of local adaptation and limiting gene flow in single landscapes, through the genetics of entire species' ranges, to understanding the causes of diversification of entire clades.
