We tested and confirmed the accuracy of our calculational parameters, particularly the employment of single- ζ basis sets, by comparing the band structures of single- and double-wall nanotubes with those calculated using the plane-wave basis set in the PWSCF code and the numerical atomic-orbital basis set in the SIESTA code.
